Welcome Kurt Reyes, MD to the McKinney area!
Dr. Kurt Reyes is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, the newest and fastest growing specialty. He is a native of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and completed his undergraduate degree at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and Internal Medicine residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
During his time in the Army, he was most proud of his patient centered Internal Medicine medical home and comprehensive weight control practice; in his last military assignment, he and his medical team successfully treated 86 patients to lose a total of 1200+ lbs in 9 months.
He is excited to continue the physician-led, high quality, patient centered practice of Doctors of Primary Care in McKinney. In addition, he is enthusiastic to continue his weight medicine practice by establishing the Alpha Medical Weight Control Program.
Dr. Reyes is married to his beautiful wife and enjoys traveling with his children. He enjoys working out and running. He is also proud that Army finally beat Navy in 2017!
